Q- How do I get the password to the Residents Only section of this website?
A- Use the Contact Us form to verify your residency and the password will be emailed to you.
Q - Is there a Speed Limit?
A - Yes! The speed limit on Silverwood streets is 20 MPH and 10MPH coming through the gate. Please obey and respect the posted speed limit.
Q - Are golf carts allowed?
A - Yes, as long as it is driven by a homeowner with a drivers permit, and it is registered with homeowners' association. A registered golf cart will have registration number on both sides of the cart. Golf cart registration can be accomplished on the Silverwood website.
Q - Are off road motor vehicles allowed to be ridden on Silverwood streets?
A - No. Silverwood does not permit any off-road motor bikes, go carts, or vehicles that are not street legal, other than a registered golf cart with a permitted driver, to be operated on neighborhood streets.
Q - Is burning yard debris permitted?
A - Yard clippings and small limbs can be burned in your yard.
No fires are allowed on Sundays.
All fires must be extinguished one hour prior to sunset.
Q - Can you swim in the lakes?
A - No. Swimming and boating are not permitted in Silverwood lakes.
Q - Can we build a storage shed, metal storage building or above ground swimming pool?
A - You are required to submit your drawings for any additions, building, fence, removal of trees, etc., to the Silverwood Architectural Review Committee (SARC) before starting your project. SARC approval must be obtained PRIOR to the start of construction or modifications.
Q - Can any homeowner join a committee of their choice?
A - Yes. The Board of Directors and Homeowners Association are always glad to have volunteers. You can contact any board member. Use the Contact Us form on this website.
Q - Can children use the weight room facilities?
A - No, not unless they are in attendance with an adult. You must be 18 years or older to use the clubhouse exercise facilities.
Q - Where can I get a card for the weight room door?
A - The card used for the card reader at the front gate will also work for the exercise facilities and the tennis courts. If it does not work, please contact the office.
Q - How do I get into the upstairs clubhouse?
A - A reservation form and deposit are needed to use the upper level of the clubhouse. More information regarding reservations can be found on the Clubhouse page of this website.
Q - Whose responsibility is it to maintain drainage ditches?
A – The homeowners on each side of a drainage ditch are required to keep adjacent drainage ditches clear of debris. Major drainage issues can be brought up at the monthly Homeowners Association Board meeting.
Q – Who can attend the monthly Silverwood Homeowners Association Board meetings?
A – Any Silverwood homeowner. Homeowners are encouraged to participate!
Silverwood Homeowners Association Board of Directors meetings are held every 3rd Thursday each month.
Q – What is the call-box number for my guest to use for the clubhouse?
A – “0154” from the callbox. You may let them in by using the same code you do for your home (99.)
Q- How do I get a new card or decal?
A- Use the Contact Form to make arrangements for your new cards and decals, email the office at [email protected] or come to the office during office hours.
Q- Are homeowners responsible for the lamp post on their property?
A- Yes, homeowners are responsible. We have the lamp post shades available to buy at the office and we have an electrician who we can recommend.
