- Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective communication with the entire SPHA concerning time, date and location of annual elections..
- Start election process 45 days before annual meeting.
- Generate ballots, distribute ballots and count ballots at each election.
- Admin will work with election committee and board member to prepare for annual meeting, USPS notices, email and post on website documents for meeting, including proposed budget documents and meeting notices.
- 45 days from meeting which is the third Saturday in November, mail by USPS the meeting announcement and the form for nominations to all homeowners.
- After the deadline for nominations, each person nominated completes their bio and it is on our website and emailed along with the proxy ballot.
- The budget review dates are set and emailed and online.
- Day of election: ballot box, sticks for voting, ballots, 3 alphabetical lists of residents, the delinquency report from our accountants Wilson and Kessler from the day before, agenda, copies of budget, tally sheet, sign in sheet and key for lock white box for any additional absentee votes.
